NaNoWriMo 2011: Bright City Bites

NaNoWriMo starts (for me) in a little over twelve hours (midnight November 1), and I've been posting entries for the last few weeks that have helped me flesh out my characters a little more. Plot's still a little vague but at least I have a theme now.

I also have a tentative cover and synopsis, which I'll place below the cut.

I'll probably just be posting word counts. In the past, I've posted chapters as I've written them in friends-locked posts in didnttakestars, but I think I'm going to hold off on that until I get this finished.
